“Unfolding the Rainbow of Motherhood,” created in collaboration with Flatbed Press. Using the unique medium of mono-printing, Kyle transformed cloth utility accessories and garments that she designed for mothering into seven life-sized prints that are embedded with colors that recall the nostalgic colors of Kodachrome. These prints, each a contemporary masterpiece, unravel the complex emotions that encompass motherhood, from boundless joy to profound grief, whimsy to purpose. Kyle’s prints serve as a testament to the tools of motherhood, reflecting her personal journey and evolution as a mother.
